Indian Air Force (IAF) has published the recruitment  notification for Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT). IAF has also released additional vacancies for women candidates in Ground Duty (Non-Tech) Branches i.e. Admin , Logistics and Accounts Branch.

AFCAT is a gateway for both male & female candidates to join Indian Airforce. AFCAT Recruitment is for Flying Branch and Ground Duties for both technical & non-technical roles. Indian Air Force has released a short note for recruiting men and women from Indian Citizens to be part of the Indian Airforce as commissioned Officers in Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical Branches) registration for online application will begin from 1st June 2021. The last date to apply online will be 30th June 2021.AFCAT under advertisement 02/2021 has released NCC Special Entry / Meteorology Entry for the courses commencing in July 2022. Indian Air Force is also inviting applications for grant of PC/SSC for NCC Special Entry Scheme and For Meteorology Entry. Selection procedure

AFCAT  Follows.

Educational Qualification : 

Flying Branch. Candidates should have mandatorily passed with a minimum of 50% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level and
(a) Graduation with minimum three years degree course in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
(b) BE/B Tech degree (Four years course) from a recognised University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent

Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Branches. (aa) Administration. Passed 10+2 and Graduate Degree (Minimum three years degree course) in any discipline from a recognised university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent or cleared section A & B examination of
Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognised university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent

Physical Standards:

Candidates are advised to be physically fit when you report for SSB in order to be able to undergo various tests at AFSB. You should aim to achieve an ability to run 01 mile (1.6 kms) in 10 minutes, 10 push ups and 3 chin ups.

Written Test:

Note: Candidates will not be permitted to enter the exam centre, under any circumstance, after the pre-exam verification process has comenced at 08:00 hrs for shift-I and 12:30 hrs for shift-II.
