NDA Application Form 2022

The NDA recruitment examination form for the 400 vacancies across Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force has been released by the Union Public Service Commission, the online application for NDA (1) 2022 has already started on 22 December 2021 and it will last till 11 January 2022, interested aspirants can apply online before the last date.

 

 

 

NDA 2 2022 Notification

The written examination will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for admission to the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the NDA and Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). NDA Exam Educational Qualification

Candidates must meet the following Educational Qualifications to complete the application process.

For Army Wing of National Defence

Academy

Candidates who wish to apply must be :

12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School

Education or equivalent examination

conducted by a State Education Board or

a University.

For Air Force and Naval Wings of

National Defence Academy and the

10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the

Indian Naval Academy

Candidates must be

12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry,

and Mathematics of the 10+2 pattern of

School Education or equivalent conducted

by a State Education Board or a University.

NDA Exam Physical Standards

Candidates must be physically fit according to physical standards for admission to National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I) 2021. Candidates are advised to read the guidelines given in Appendix-IV to check whether they meet the required physical standards and whether they are eligible to apply.

They should be able to fulfill the following criteria:

(a) Running: 2.4 km in 15 minutes
(b) Skipping
(c) Pushups & Sit-ups: Minimum 20 each
(d) Chin-ups: Minimum 08
(e) Rope Climbing: 3.4 meters

 

 

 

 

NDA Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status

Only unmarried male and female candidates born not earlier than 02nd Jan, 2004 and not later than 1st Jan, 2007 are eligible.

NDA Exam Height Requirements

For Ground Duty Branch

  • The minimum height for entry into ground duty branches- 157.5 cm.
  • Minimum acceptable height for Gorkhas and individuals belonging to North Eastern regions of India and hilly regions of Uttarakhand- (152.5 cm).
  • In the case of candidates from Lakshadweep, the minimum acceptable height can be reduced by 2 cm- (155.5 cm)

Paper 1 NDA Syllabus of Maths(300 Marks)

Paper 2 – Part A – NDA Syllabus of English (200 Marks)

The syllabus covers various aspects like: Grammar and usage, vocabulary, comprehension and cohesion in extended text to test the candidate’s proficiency in English.

Paper 2 – Part B – NDA Syllabus of General Knowledge (400 Marks)

This test will consist of 6 sections. Candidates will have to prepare the basics of all these sections for the UPSC NDA 2022 Exam. The sections are as follows:
