About CRPF :
The CRPF (Full Form is Central Reserve Protection Force) is one of the oldest and most experienced Armed Police Force of the country. The demand of this Force from States and Union Territories has substantially increased and this Force has been called upon to help the States in almost every situation. The role of the Force and services rendered by it have extended beyond the nation’s borders as well. Over the years CRPF has also produced number of outstanding sportsmen and athletics who have brought honour and appreciation both with in and outside the country.
CRPF recruitment 2022: The CRPF is the Central Armed Police Forces which is the largest unit of India with 239 battalions. CRPF does the recruitment for different forces like:- BSF- (Border Security Force), AR- (Assam Rifles), CRPF – (Central Reserve Police Force), NSG – (National Security Guard), Sashastra Seema Bal, CISF – (Central Industrial Security Force) & Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP). It was established in 1939 as Crown Representative’s police. Today, CRPF has developed into 207 different posts. Every year, thousands of candidates apply for vacancies in CRPF recruitment. CRPF Recruitment :
The Central Reserve Police Force is the largest of the Central Armed Police Forces units with 325,000 personnel in 245 battalions. The Central Reserve Police includes:
- The Rapid Action Force (RAF), a 10 battalion anti-riot force trained to respond to sectarian violence.
- The Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (COBRA), a 10 battalion strong anti-Naxalite force.
- A citizen of India
- Nepal citizen
- Bhutan citizen
- Tibetan Refugee (came to India before January 1, 1962)

Age Required –
- Interested applicants age should not less than 18 years but no maximum age as per the posts requirement.
- Age for SI/Overseer 21 to 30 years, ASI/Draughtsman 18 to 25 years, CT 18 to 23 years.
- Age Relaxation to SC/ST 5 years / OBC 3 years and for more details read the notification.
