The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will soon announce job openings for Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) on their official website. The RRB NTPC Recruitment is planned to fill about 100,000 jobs in various sections of Indian Railways, including Zonal Railways and Production Units.

 

The RRB will hold exams to find suitable candidates for these jobs. The aim is to recruit many people across the country to help improve the operations of Indian Railways. Details about when and how the exams will be conducted will be shared in the notification.

RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024 Vacancy Announced Notice

 

 

Approximately more than 10000 vacancies will be available for application. However, details of vacancies shall be unveiled only after the Official announcement. Below is the Post Wise Vacancy Chart which RRB announced in the last recruitment.

The positions include a variety of roles such as Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Traffic Assistant, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Commercial Apprentice, and Station Master.

NTPC Posts Educational Qualification

For Undergraduate Posts, candidates must have passed the 12th (+2 Stage) or equivalent examination. For Graduate Posts, candidates with a University Degree or equivalent are eligible to apply. Candidates awaiting the results of the final examination of the prescribed minimum educational qualification should not apply.

 

The age requirement for undergraduate posts is 18 to 30 years, while for graduate posts, it is 18 to 33 years. The official notification will provide the specific age cut-off date to determine eligibility.

 

Registration Fee

The application fee for candidates in the GEN/OBC categories is ₹500. Of this amount, ₹400 will be refunded (minus bank charges) upon their participation in the first stage of the CBT-1. For candidates from SC/ST/PWD/Women/Ex-Servicemen/Transgender/Minorities/Economically Backward categories, the required registration fee is ₹250, which will also be refunded (minus bank charges) after appearing in CBT-1.

The starting and last dates to apply for the RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024 will be released soon. Candidates are advised to check the official website for updates regularly.

The NTPC selection process involves several steps tailored to the requirements of each position. These steps generally include two stages of Computer-Based Tests (CBT), followed by other tests specific to certain roles, and finally, document verification and a medical examination.

For the roles of Station Master and Traffic Assistant, candidates undergo two stages of CBTs and a Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT), concluding with document verification and a medical exam.

Positions such as Junior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, and Senior Time Keeper require candidates to pass two stages of CBTs and a Typing Skill Test. This is followed by document verification and a medical examination.

For other roles like Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, and Commercial Apprentice, the selection process includes two stages of CBTs, which are then followed by document verification and a medical examination.

 

How to Apply Online for RRB NTPC Recruitment 2024?

To apply for the recruitment, candidates must follow these steps once the application dates are announced:

  1. Visit the official Indian Railways website at indianrailways.gov.in.
  2. Click on the direct link and select the Zone you want to apply to.
  3. Register by clicking on ‘New Registration’ and then select your Zone from the drop-down menu.
  4. Fill in your required details and check the availability of post-wise vacancies for your selected zone. Proceed by clicking on the ‘Apply’ button.
  5. Enter all necessary information in the RRB NTPC Application form, then click ‘Continue’. Confirm your details on the next page and verify them before clicking on the ‘Confirm’ button.
  6. After confirming, you will receive an OTP on your registered email and phone number. Enter the OTP and the captcha, then click ‘Submit’.
  7. Log in using your registration details and pay the application fee.
  8. After payment, select your preferred posts and upload your photograph, signature, and necessary certificates.
  9. Finally, submit your application and take a printout.
